So we lost another one yesterday from $Job. SD, in the Ops area, got pissed on by the new (interim) manager, PD, and just packed her stuff and left. She called her resignation in after she was out of the building. The only reason I knew is because I happened to walk into her area as she was packing. She left her key fob with me to give to personnel. The nearest I can tell is PD tried to jack her around on her PTO request. SD's description was "manipulative b!tch". Well, yes, but that goes with being a manager around here.
Other departures include RK from engineering, and SQ who was supposed to be our ClearCase admin. In the nearly 9 months I've been here, they've hemhorraged 13 people that I know of, most of them permanent, but some long term contractors. Most of these were resignations! This company has not employed more than 80 people since I've been here, including the QA contractors, who aren't even counted in the 13 since they're "short term"!!
