Cowardice?

Why is it that pro-war first-strike hawks call anyone who disagrees with them "cowards" and "anti-American"?? Don't these people realize it takes a lot more courage to stand against the tide of propaganda and jingoistic Americanism (that our so called "free" press is bombarding us with every day) than to parrot it?? Don't they understand that it takes more guts to stand up to yelling, threats, and "invitations" to "leave if you don't like it" than to follow the herd? It's easy to go along with a charismatic demagogue like Bush, rather than have the guts to look at the realities on all sides.

Get this, hawks: It's our country too. It's just that we have the balls to stand up and say NO to a pre-emptive war on a little country, thousands of miles away, that has not been proven to even have ties to alQaida, whose missiles can only reach a few nearby countries (that have substantial armies of their own), and has lost the last two wars they were in!! How "courageous" is that - picking on some loser nation, just because they're sitting on a strategic resource? Who are the cowards here?

Real courageous, George W Bush, flipping the bird to all our friends and allies so you can go play bully in the middle east. What's the encore, stealing groceries from grannies? You still haven't found binLaden, and you probably won't, because then you'd have to abandon your terror alerts, panic the public, control by fear game.

Don't call me coward, mister chickenhawk - I have the guts to stand for what I believe in, rather than be a go-along cheerleader like you.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled, made for TV (and political campaigns), stomping of a small country - just to get even with the bumbling jerk who runs it and look good for reelection.
